MadiganGill is a £60m privately owned company which has been trading since 2009, we employ 85 direct employees plus provide employment for a large number of site based workers.



MadiganGill is split into three divisions, Logistics, Resourcing and Security. The Logistics company undertake full construction logistics packages as a subcontractor to large national contractors and are currently working on nearly 50 sites, we have a good reputation and have worked on a lot of prestige projects. Our Resourcing division supplies skilled trades & labour to main contractors, sub-contractors and developers, we regularly have over 1400 people working on site. We also recruit and provide permanent and temporary professional candidates for clients.



We are based in modern offices at Moorgate EC2, we also have offices in Bristol, Birmingham and Redhill, these mainly supply labour but we will provide logistics packages anywhere in the UK. In our offices we have an informal, friendly atmosphere while maintaining a professional corporate culture in our business dealings. We are proud of the team we have built up and have exciting and ambitious growth plans for the business. We like to promote from within and want to see our staff develop and flourish along with our business.



The Role



The successful candidate will be able to work in a pressurized environment with the ability to think on their feet and react to the constantly changing requirements seamlessly. Being confident and hardworking are essential qualities for this role, as well as a great telephone manner and the ability to communicate with potential candidates face to face. A willingness and ability to learn quickly will assist you greatly within this role, along with a strong attention to detail with regards to administrative tasks and data entry.



Key Responsibilities




  • Focusing on call handling and communicating with potential candidates

  • Communicating with the Labour Managers and Consultants with regards to the jobs you are filling and their requirements

  • Resourcing for candidates daily to ensure job roles are filled for the following day

  • Answering landline and directing any queries/requests to the right department.

  • Sourcing new candidates and inviting them to office in order to complete registration.

  • Updating database with any new and existing candidates who are ready for work.

  • Placing adverts for new candidates

  • Using online recruitment tools to source candidates in hard-to-fill areas.

  • Helping achieve 100% compliance daily

  • General Admin Duties - filing, updating database with any new information, calling candidates to determine availability

  • May be required to do site visits to drop off some PPE or do some on-site registrations



Skills




  • Be a competent administrator with a high degree of computer literacy, particularly Excel

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

  • Be able to work in a positive and supportive way with a wide range of people at all levels

  • The ability to create partnerships and interact with our staff, clients and suppliers

  • High level of integrity and honesty

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Motivated and eager to learn
