We are pleased to announce that MadiganGill Logistics has secured the contract for HMP ChanningsWood a New Build and Refurbishment project for Kier Construction.
HMP Channings Wood
The plans for the Cat C men’s prison located in Devon are to expand the existing prison in line with the Ministry of Justicerequest.
The expansion at HMP Channings Wood will create an additional 494 prison places and will include the delivery oftwo new fully electric, energy-efficient X-shaped T60 house-blocks that support the M.o.J’s continued commitment toreducing carbon emissions through efficient design.
Kier Construction will also build a workshop at HMP Channings Woodto equip prisoners with the skills and support they need to aid rehabilitation and reduce reoffending.
