We were delighted to be awarded Contractor of the Year for Innovation and Technology by Alex Jefferson, Programme Director at Wates, in recognition of our Vehicle Tracking Technology delivered at the HMP Wellen Oaks (Gartree) project.
The award recognises our digital delivery vehicle tracking solution, MG Deliver, developed to support complex site logistics while addressing genuine concerns raised by the local community.
During the planning phase, objections were raised around the routes used by construction traffic to and from site. It was essential for the client that these concerns were managed transparently and effectively. In response, we implemented a robust Delivery Management System capable of monitoring and controlling vehicle movements in real time.
Working closely with our technology partner Bridge Management Systems, we enhanced our existing platform to track delivery vehicles live from an agreed commencement point through to site and back again, using pre-set and approved routes. The system provides instant deviation alerts, ensuring compliance while giving confidence to both the client and the local community.
To support consistent adoption, dedicated workshops and training were delivered to all specialist contractors and their teams, alongside detailed compliance reporting to maintain accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
