Apprentices Visit Sortera

Date posted 2-12-2024

HANDS ON IS THE BEST EXPERIENCE

This month our MadiganGill Logistics Waste Management Apprentices visited the Sortera UK waste management facility in Edmonton, North London.

Responsible Waste Management is an important part of our offering, and this was an excellent opportunity to see firsthand how construction waste is collected, recycled, and processed.

Tony Ball, Managing Director for Logistics and Demolition said “This programme is a great opportunity for our apprentices to gain the knowledge and experience that will be able to steer their careers towards becoming Logistic Managers for the future”.

MadiganGill shares the belief, with our supply chain partner Sortera, that we have a responsibility to invest in the proper management of waste to maximise the circular value of our activities and protect future generations.

Over the coming months, MadiganGill will be looking to bring in our third cohort of Logistics Waste Management Apprentices and would be delighted to hear from anyone interested in applying.
