MadiganGill are looking a Setting Out Engineer for a new project in North Bristol for 12+ months work.

This will be on a freelance basis and pay rate is negotiable dependant upon experience.

**Transport, equipment and laptop will be provided**

Expected duties:-

• Carrying out all necessary setting out correctly and accurately
• Use of robotic equipment
• implementing relevant element of the inspection & test plan
• Completing quality assurance checks and associated documentation
• Preparing as built drawings
• Records management
• Attending relevant project meetings

Essential experience

• minimum 5 years appropriate setting out experience
• previous housing background
• proficiency using robotic EDM
• experience with GPS machine control and be able to produce models.
• proficiency using AutoCad
• Experience around 3D machine control would be an advantage
• Experience using n4ce or similar software for producing models.
• machine control experience
• good communication skills
• good understanding of engineer and architects drawings
• ability to maintain effective relationships with customers.

Days: Monday - Friday (Potential weekends available)

Hours: 07:30 - 16:30
