Overview
MadiganGiill require an experienced Construction Logistics Manager to oversee all logistics operations for a major construction project. You will play a critical role in managing the supply chain, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage site logistics, including material deliveries, storage, and waste management.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure timely and efficient operations.
- Implement and monitor health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Optimise site access, traffic management, and storage to minimise disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular progress reports to project leadership.
- Resolve logistical challenges proactively to keep the project on schedule and within budget.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Logistics Manager on large-scale construction projects (£20m+)
- Strong knowledge of construction site operations and supply chain management.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in construction.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- CSCS card and relevant qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, IOSH, or equivalent).
- Strong communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with new build schemes.
- Proficiency in logistics software or project management tools
