About Us:

MadiganGill is a leading recruitment agency specialising in the construction and engineering sectors. We are currently seeking a skilled 360 Operator to join a major project in Didcot, Oxford, starting at the beginning of February. This role is initially a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension as the project progresses through different phases, potentially lasting up to 3 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 360 Excavator for a variety of tasks, including excavation, trenching, and lifting operations.

• Carry out groundwork duties, including digging, grading, and site preparation.

• Work closely with site managers and groundworks teams to ensure all activities are carried out efficiently and according to project plans.

• Perform daily inspections of the 360 excavator to ensure it is in safe working condition.

• Maintain high safety standards, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Assist with other general groundworks tasks as required on-site.

• Complete site reports, record machinery usage, and any issues encountered during operations.

• Ensure materials are handled correctly and in a safe manner during excavation and lifting tasks.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience operating a 360 Excavator (essential).

• Valid 360 Excavator CPCS/NPORS (or equivalent) ticket is a must.

• A valid CSCS card is required.

• Previous experience in groundworks or similar construction roles.

• Strong understanding of construction site safety and regulations.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

• Good communication skills for reporting and liaising with other site teams.

• A valid driving license is an advantage.
